What style whole body wiring kit/harness setup do most of you guys use? I have mainly done restos in the past so I always used Evans and Year One harnesses. Should I still go that route or is there a better method using an aftermarket harness such as American Autowire, Painful, or one of the others? I used American Autowire on a '70 Challenger I did for a customer over 10 years ago and it seemed pretty good but am wondering if there are better alternatives nowadays.

Also feedback on the engine harnesses out there are welcome as well.

Any real world advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Factory body harnesses, with whatever you use for your engine/trans combo. I've done 2, 6.4 conversions. My cuda has all the computers and components of a stock 6.4 SRT/NAG1 car. The wagon has a 727 behind the 6.4
There's just a couple of issues tying the old and new together. Been so long, I don't remember how that all went...
I use/used Year-One stuff for the bodies. Never an issue.

The EZ Wiring kit is what I'm using. If you've done wiring before you'll know there are a lot of extra wires/fuses for stock accessories that may not be applicable to your build. I just remove them from the fuse box or repurpose them for another accessory with the correct gauge wire. The EZ kit allows you to do that. I mounted the fuse box above the passenger side kick panel. There's a nice open spot right there

The other thing I did was I made a 2-piece removable panel that goes up under the passenger side foot well to mount the ECU and accessories on. This allows making pinout changes much easier for the future. A few DZUS fittings and it drops down. I also have a relay board attached to it as well. If you plan on having A/C the packaging gets much tighter, but you can make a similar panel that goes upside down and attaches to the underside of the dashboard.

I’m using a M&H body harness from Year One. I redid all the electrical prior to the swap a few years ago. For the 6.1/NAG1 harness I have a Hotwire harness. I’ve tried to keep the two harnesses separate unless necessary. This way I can troubleshoot depending upon the issue.

Nicely done!
