Just bought an 87 Dakota 4WD truck 127,000 miles. If it lasts as long as the 93 (225,000 miles) we had before gifting it to my granddaughter, we’ll be happy

87 91 2000 2005 and a 2010 trx4 that was factory painted mango tango.
All great vehicles.

Nice! There's an 86/7 ish around the corner from me owned by a little old lady(widow) that uses it for dump runs in the summer.
I want it, but not big enuf to pull my boat.
I had a 2000 Dak v6, loved it but gas guzzler lol.

I’m still amazed at how well built (really overbuilt) the big three’s trucks from this era are. Made to be worked like a rented mule.

i had a think a 88 ,love dakotas 3.9 little under powered ,my 01 2wd 4dr was my fav ,my 08 4dr was under powered too
would love to see them build a new one i don't need the size of my ram 1500 but the hemi has all the power that i need

Nice truck Don! Is it a 318 or a 3.9? I've been trying to buy an 87 318 2wd short bed truck from a local guy forever....and he won't sell it. Just sits around in his yard with cans piled in the bed where people bring them to him so he can scrap em! He's a nice guy, but bought it new and won't let it go.
