Well we went to look at Johns Barracuda. The asking price was $26,900. I looked for things That were bad. This was a really clean solid car. It is a E code car with AC. Color change from tan to yellow but a nice job.

Don't get me wrong Todd didn't steal this car he paid up. John threw in a bunch of parts like the original 273 commando, From the air cleaner to pan, Manifold to Manifold. Bolted to the trans. Plus all the original AC was still on the engine.

There are some minor things to do on this car . Drive train vibration , swap the spindles to add the stabilizer. I knew after walking up to the car seeing it and then looking at Todds face we were not leaving without this car.

Thanks John

Beauty!

Non Formula S 273-4 barrel car?

...and bucket seat column shift.

Interesting.

"Like!" Considering all the "stuff" you guys have, I'm suprised you didn't already have one....somewhere

There are 5 here besides this one . We gathered them for parts for two others . A Notch formula S and a rare 68 FB. What is rare about the 68 is the vin is in the door jam not on the dash and had a 67 interior , 68 dash with lower pad no vin on the dash

This 67 Todd just got needs very little . 273 commando , 4 spd . 68 340 rear valance and tips AC and electrical work and head rest seats.

The 340 that is in the car is fresh but needs to be tore down for inspection . The motor gets hot and tightens up. Once we removed the noisy fan you can hear the noise and feel the vibration. My son looked down the bores you can see it was not honed correctly and bores have marks. New .030 pistons. We are building a driver for Todd. He has the parts and knows what he wants. The 68 will get most of the driveline from this car to have fun at the track.

I can't wait to see the parts Todd throws at the car. I am donating the 70 340 manifolds and exhaust plus the 4 spd. conversion
