360, 040 over 10:5.1, rpm intake, hughes rockers, 30200741 comp solid flat cam tti headers, holley red electric pump, electric fan, fully ported 2.08/1.60 eddy heads, holley ultra 750 double pumper.

OK, wait i just found a new lunati solid flat #30200913. it says "Solid, rough idle. Excellent cam for high performance street or bracket racing in 340-360 cubic inch motors. Largest cam recommended for daily driven street machine. Needs 3800-4000 RPM stall converter, headers, 10.5:1 compression ratio and 4.10 gearing or better." how do yall think that would compare to the 30200741 cam???

I'd call Tim @ Bullet and let him grind something that works for your application.

How many rpms do you want to spin and how quick you need to go? More converter would be a good choice if ET is what your after. The point is without having a baseline and a goal it's not very clear what you need to change.

741 grind,MRL does this for a living.Sees dyno time daily.He knows his VooDoos,go with it.Not often,a professional engine builder,gives advice for free.Ask for a price quote,from him.Done speed parts for a while.For a few dollars more,you have someone with personal experience with the product.Summit/ J eg's can't do that.Just,some advice,from someone been through the wars.

Yeah, Mike is giving me a lot of advice/help. Changing from the Comp PP 508 to the voodoo roller is gonna cost about $1800, maybe a tad more depending on how much the Smith pushrods cost. A lot for maybe 40HP but hoping the wider/deeper torque curve makes the memory of moolah flying away a distant one.

I plan to use the 2800 converter I was running before with the PP 508 as it is perfect for driving around my back country roads at 45 MPH with the 3.91s - just starts hooking around that speed. Only a 1.65 60' but it is all a compromise anyways with a street driven hotrod.
