The car came from Arizona and the title had to be transferred from the original seller to the guy I bought it from. AZ doesn't have paper titles for old cars (apparently) but my state requires it. I have been waiting for a couple weeks for the paper title to be made and sent. USPS sent it from AZ to New York, and then to Iowa.Just curious, didn't get the title with it? in my state when you transfer title you get plates right then as long as you have insurance

Same here.unless you are getting a vanity plate.Just curious, didn't get the title with it? in my state when you transfer title you get plates right then as long as you have insurance
that thing is actually nicer than mine1962 Belvedere we bought from Obsolete Automotive of YouTube fame. 361 Golden Commando power, three on the tree, and 3.55 742 case. I'm finishing up the process of adding late model C body manifolds I bought off of out Good 'Ole Pal Rusty that fit better than stock and used a separate heat riser and no tube nuts. I got some four to six bolt valve cover adapters from Medice Mfg. and I am adding some MP black wrinkle finned valve covers and a Street Dominator with a ThermoQuad to get a functional PCV going. Also adding some dodge truck 15X5-1/2 front wheels with 195/70-15s to make the manual steering more enjoyable while allowing the use of the stock hubcaps.

It's not perfect, but it's great to have worry free driver! It's a "333" code car, which I understand may be code for police option. Technically, it's the first muscle car, being it is the first midsized car produced and has a high performance option big block and factory dual exhaust to boot.that thing is actually nicer than minei had to fix soo much rust that i never want water near it again. BTW... i switched from power to manual (20:1) and after 20 miles i ordered a bergman power kit.... it's really nice but expensive.
That's allowed in everything except sales and bash Dan and Uncle Tony posts.Off topic with no mods jumping in to delete post!
they don't mess with me... i'm awesomeOff topic with no mods jumping in to delete post!
Dayam! Nearly 6 pages already! I'm stinkin about quitten and haven't even done much here!!If mods edit/delete something, they should put their name to it.
As I said before in another post, I know of 3 GOOD mods that quit due to hypocrisy and another mod.

For real!! My high school car was mom's 68 Charger- and I've had 4 more of them over the years, in the 90s, all solid straight complete big block cars. Never paid more than $500 for any of them. Now- good grief... I just want one more before I die, but ...unlikely.I mean have you seen b body prices. I grew up with a b body shitbox though and plan to keep it trashy
I'm sure you do.What's your old handle, do I know you?
Clarification of why a post or thread was modded? Not allowing clarification publicly in a thread is bs. This allows for some self governance.
I allow new information, additional photos, or a reasonable price reduction to be added by the seller. The posts that just blatently bump get taken down and 99% of the time get a message sent explaining that. This is a pretty legitimate point, in my opinion, because an ADDED post with new, correct information bring the thread back to the top, where people can see the new information. But then, there's the rules about bumping adds. Gold members can bump in three days. Non gold members are allowed no bumps at all. A post with added info is a bump, so what's a mod supposed to do there? Maybe change the rules to allow new information in an added post? Then they have to watch for creative bumping like "Oh here's the part in a fresh coat of paint" and so on.
Correct no more legit questions or answers in for sale or wanted postI saw a post earlier to day that the new mod said take comments to PM. The comments were asking for clarification about the part being sold. This "IS NOT" comments, it's legit questions and answers.
If he doesn't say what it's for that's a legitimate question.[FOR SALE] - Pair Of OEM Headrest Bezels #2942847
Like this one normally I would ask bucket seat or bench or just say it for a bench seat. Now We cannot do that. I am not going to pm him when I can just do it in 2 seconds. Now i will just leave it alone.
