There a few good question being ask you need to go delete them. Hurry up.

[FOR SALE] - 1968 Factory AC set up

Here is another one that needs a question. what motor size did it come off? Nope cannot do that

I know you want to help but it's not your job. If you are interested in the part, ask the question. If not, just scroll on by. Let the conversation happen between between the seller and buyer.

If I see a legit question regardless of who asks it I don't delete them unless it has been answered before or a conversation has started about it.

That’s also my point. The buy might not ask the right question but one use do previous. Buys Thinks v8 are all the same but 318 and 340 are different.

It ain't worth it if you don't agree with all the personal interpretation of the rules.

If mods have time to delete legit questions and answers then they have plenty of time to address the real BS that goes on here every once in a while.

As far as the mods go, I have much respect for most of them. I've butted heads with one or two over the years but never anything serious. I try my best to support the site and the mods and will continue to do the same. I ask questions about parts that don't have a complete description because they may or may not do what I want for my application.

But now they want it in a pm. 90% of the question need to be on the post for other to see.

Ok so if you address, your question or comment in a private message, which is how I interpret the rules.
Then the O P could answer it and then edit his add.

Questions like "What year?" "2bbl or 4bbl?" should be allowed in For Sale ads, and left there for others to see so they don't ask the same question if they have wondered the same thing. In the rules, under respondants, #2 says questions like that are allowed. Simple question, simple answer. Yapping about it all day long or telling something about Uncle Benny having one just like it needs whacked. You gotta give a little grace for legit questions.

A couple years ago a guy stopped by the house to buy some car parts , Got to looking for his wallet or something, I don't remember.
But I said maybe it's in your purse, as he had a shoulder bag on. He got PISSED and straighten me out that it was his MAN BAG!!!
Did he have a man bun?

I understand what your saying.
So let's look at it from another direction.
You place a sale add .some asks a question or comment in another add , which bumps it over yours
It leads to conversations which continue to bump your post further down the line.
Despite what my join date reads I have been here a lot longer. and have seen adds get turned into a chapter full of conversation
That's why I post to take your comments to private message. Let the OP respond and edit his post.

I don't disagree, but it's how to figure out how to do it within the posted rules. Maybe some slight changes need to be made? I don't know.
Yes, and I just think that the mods should have a little leeway on how to run things, delete the bs, but allow obviously legit questions or comments

I agree, it seems like the hammer is coming down on this topic, but yet Ive seem numerous threads where members are bashing each other and their opinions on various topics, getting downright nasty and name-calling, yet nothing is done to curb that

Thats what being a mod should be about, not just following the rules without bending, just having a little give and take on what is allowed, thats part of the job, determining what should stay or go without being a robot.

I've left a few things go by I'm not a robot.
As for numerous issues in threads I myself don't look in every thread to see what's being posted.
Hard to correct a problem if nobody complains
