Hello all,
I'm not the greatest at introductions, but here we go. I live in the D/FW area. I've been nuts for muscle cars in general since I knew what cars were. My first mopar was a '72 Valiant 6-cyl followed closely by a '73 Duster 318 auto. I came across both of them through members of the Lowcountry Mopar Club in Charleston, SC(thanks, guys). I built a pretty nasty 360 that ended up in the Valiant, as well as power disc brakes and the 8 1/4 rear end from a Duster. A broken intake valve ended that ride. As with a lot of you, I'm sure, I have been looking for a Barracuda notchback barn find for a while. Hell, a complete roller would do fine. My affection with the A-bodies is due to them being light weight and capable of housing any mopar muscle engine with factory parts. I am trying to locate any Cowtown Mopar Club members to see where they usually meet. If I come across my dream notchback, there will definately be pics up. Until then, I'll keep wrenching and fishing I guess. Catfish and Bass fishing tips are always welcome, but hopefully not all 10,000 plus members of this site have one.
Nice to meet y'all,
Brandon
