New heads or nah?

Right now I run 7.0s at my very high altitude 1/8 track (think 5300’ static, 8800’ corrected altitude), and I want to be in the 6.50-6.60 area.
410 Scat stroker 12.7:1, Eddy heads ported by LaRoy that flow 280/240@.600, Hughes solid cam STL5054AS-8, Weiand single plane topped with a Ron’s flying toilet, small Hooker 1 5/8 headers, and 3220 race weight.
I feel as the heads and headers are my bottleneck right now. The header ports are smaller than the head ports... I’d rather not go to a solid roller. Assuming I’ll buy some TTI 1 7/8 headers, is there any head suggestions to get me down into the ET range I want? Figuring I’ll need to make a bit over 600hp on alcohol to get there.

With exhaust numbers like that, throw a nitrous shot into it
 
If you were to buy new heads I wouldn't buy anything that didn't have offset rockers.

How much gear do you have in the rearend?

What kind of rpm are you at the stripe?

Remove some more weight?

Do you have fiberglass hood and front bumper?

You're running a Ron's toilet I assume you're on alcohol? Bump the compression up to 14 to 1, or high as you can get it.

If you really want to steep it up at that altitude change the pistons and add a Procharger. Cheaper than buying new heads and changing everything around.

Using the Moroso slider, it looks like to go from 7.0 down to 6.5 will take about 120hp more than what you have now.

That’s using a factor of 1.57 to convert from 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile(the Moroso slider is for 1/4 mile).

What is your trap speed currently at the 7.0s your running?
 
I’d say you could probably knock 2-3 tenths off with a proper size header and a ported super victor. The heads are not your bottle neck just yet. The intake, headers, and low compression from altitude are.
 
If it's consistant and dependable, I wouldn'tcjange a thing. It will cost you thousands $ to go a few tenths quicker with no guarantees.
 
Headers would be my first step. 1 7/8 minimum.
Then, assuming alcohol, and altitude, compression at 14-15 to one is where I would go. (I hate the price of race gas, but if you're already on alky......?)
Agree, I think you have enough head.
Big block weiand team G is pretty crappy. I don't know enough about the small block version.
A super victor might help.

He may not have a Team G, idk if they make a sb one. If he has the Excellerator that’s a pretty good piece. Kim

It’s an xcelerator that I’ve had for 25 years and ported it myself. The injectors spray directly onto the intake valves, so the intake isn’t much more than a mount for the throttle body. The engine loved my air-gap, but was told not to run a dual plane by the Ron’s injection guys.

I want to drop the compression back down to 10 so I can get back on pump gas for the drag and drive events. It was about that before I rebuilt it and went to 410ci. Should have left it low, I only picked up a tenth with the higher compression and swap from a purple shaft to the Hughes cam.

Leave the compression where it is and burn E85 in it.

My basic numbers in my head (don't shoot the messenger) is you got about 450 h.p. and need to go to 600. This is from the oldddd Mopar books. To bump up 120 - 150 hp just start off with another build. You start changing all these parts and you're almost there. Then you can match your new larger headers to the heads. Keep the compression and run E85 like Tom said.
 
You need a bigger pump, more cubic inches would be the easiest if wanting to stay N/A.
I don't see an easy economical way of gaining 120 hp with 410 ci, sorry that's just the fact.
 
I'm not sure about the altitude, but I think it's a little underperforming for what it is. As a example, my old 70 duster has a 9.8 to 1 stock stroke 340, ported W2s, with a solid roller and a tunnel ram, at the same weight as yours, runs 6.80s at 101 mph. That's pump 93 octane, full dressed street car with uncorked mufflers and 9" slicks.
 
It falls flat at 6200 probably because it’s trying to push through those small headers.
Don’t underestimate the effect of bad air. It ran 6.60s/6.70 in Seattle with that awful humidity. My good friends 63 nova runs 6.90 at 2800lbs at the local track and his engine dyno’d around 580 at the builder in Idaho.
 
I'd expect it to run 6.60's or better at Pacific.
