Hey FABO members. My recently deceased father saved a car he last had running in the mid 80's. 72 Demon. I have said it was "my" car since I was a child. I really wanted to restore it with the old man, but life gets away from you sometimes...This has been in storage for 25 years and finally saw the light of day last Thursday. Dad had already swapped a 440 Magnum (from a Coronet) back in the day. Plans are a nice all around car, QA1 coilovers front & rear, freshen up the motor (if found worthy) and swap the green interior to black w/bucket seats. I sure I will find some as I start searching the forums, but who are the"go to" companies for these beautiful cars?

Thanks in advance, and I am proud to be a member!

Welcome. Sorry about your father. Great car w tons of memories. I was able to build mine w my son and dad. Every time you drive it your dad will be in the seat riding with you and smiling

Welcome to FABO, from the looks of it, that's a great car to fix up!
Sorry to hear about your dad though...

Welcome to FABO from over in the Panhandle!!!

Sorry to hear about your father. You'll have a GREAT cruiser soon!

Cool car man.

Being a leaf/torsion bar type car you might consider not going coil over.

Interior I have used Classic for many parts

Detroit for body gaskets/steering column

I like spending the money for TTI headers although you will have to pay close attention to motor placement.

Dr Diff for differential parts

Plenty of used parts from guys on this site. Be cautious of using people that are really new.

Be picky if you get a dashpad re done.

There is a guy in Florida that parts cars (Al) you will have much luck with.

Sorry for not having specific names but I believe I have enough leads to make you dangerous.

everyone has an opinion
no minds were ever really changed

Again, really cool car man.
