Well its nice to finally belong to a family that has the same interests in
A-body Mopars as I do.
I currently own a 1968 Dodge Dart "WSS" Western Sport Special, and a 1996
Dodge Ram Indy Special. The Dart came from southern California.
The Dart has a modest 273 - 904 - 7 1/4 rear end. The plan of attck is to up
grade the Dart with a 360 - 727 and a 8 1/4 rear end, and go "Drag Racing".
I know this combo won't break any records, but when my two sons, age
21 and 19, are going to be the prime drivers, there safety comes first.
My dad, God bless him, Introduce me to the Mopar family back in the day with his 1968 Dodge Charger. Awesome car, great memories.
I guess during my build up I will have many questions, and I'm sure this is the place to be to get those answers. Which reminds me. Does anyone know the complete story behind the "Western Sport Special" 1968 Dart. If so link me up.
I am also a current member with the "ONDR" Ontario Nostalgia Drag Racers.
Anyways thats my story. Cheers
