New Trickflow 295 heads

-

When TF stuck their toe in the Mopar pond with the 240 BB heads…….if the sales numbers of those were along the lines of B1 heads, you can rest assured there wouldn’t be any 270’s, and now 295’s.

They understand what the market wants………
High quality, ready to bolt on heads, that provide a high level of performance without the need for a bunch of specialized parts.
No offset rockers, no special headers, no special pistons.
Bring on the Easy peasy 800+hp combo’s.

If you’re looking for a higher level of performance than that……those heads still exist(B1, 572-13).
Just open your wallet and order them up.

That's the thing I like about this stuff.

I get it.

It’s a mopar guy thing. That’s why we get scrapings from the bottom of the barrel.

For the bigger cube, over 1000hp crowd…….there’s heads for them too.
Predator and 600-13’s.
The more exotic they get, the lower the sales volume is.

The Chevy guys have the benefit of being able to build a 1000+hp engine with everything available from the Summit catalog, and have it be no more exotic than a roller cammed 454…….just bigger.

That same theme is what I see these TF295’s targeting for the BBM crowd, but at about a 150-200hp less threshold.

I am glad to at least see another head available for the Mopar crowd. However, I can't see building any high performance/ race engine without a head that utilizes an offset rocker.

Also, as others have already mentioned you need a good aftermarket block if you intend to get 800 HP

I'll just have to stick with my worked over 452 heads with epoxied short side walls and .485" offset rockers.

What can a factory 400 B block handle if 1/2 hardblocked and stud girdle?
