Gotta be mental for "Hell n back". But imo St Loo is a dark horse due to what they achieved to get in.
What's with Oilers?? I counted them out after the 1st 2 games. They come back in 3 and 4 to even it up Kudos to them!
Good on Knoblauch for pulling Skinner!
I'm going to need one in a Jets theme at the rate that series is going. Back to back *** kickings bring back some unpleasant memories of playoffs past.
:BangHead::mad::wtf:

We'll see what 'home ice' can do on Wednesday night. At least 2 or 3 of the Blues goals have been just pure dumb luck. I turned the game off yesterday after the puck deflected off of Neil Pionk's *** and into the net.
Truly Hellebuyck has had little to no chance to stop some of the goals, but he's also not been getting much help from his teammates in defending the crease, or scoring on Binnington.

A couple of the grandkids getting into the spirit of the Cup! But man what a sucky weekend at our house. Both Leafs and Jets biffed it.

A shot going 3 feet wide of the net hits Drew and goes in, ugh

The not going off the boards to clear the zone or chip it straight up the middle was a real bad error. It's on your forehand, move that sucker, icing is better than allowing it to stay in your zone.

I resisted the urge to reach for my paper bag last night.

Eventful game- TBL-FLA.

Did not end the way I wanted.

FLA PK is vicious, and carries over into 5 on 5 play.
Hard to do anything in their D zone.

I don't know what the hell is going on with my Avalanche. One game they play like they are unbeatable, next game they play like crap. They need to figure it out soon, or they will be packing their bags quickly.

Same happened last year. He kind of fell apart against the Avs last year.
Yep. When you look at his playoff history it is not very flattering. But seriously, how do you have that kind of a year in regular season and then preform like this in playoffs? I really thought the early exit last year would leave a serious mark in their heads. If I was Coach (clearly I am not) while I strongly believe in go with the guy that got ya there, his playoff record may indicate a switch to backup, who arguably could play anywhere? Man I just got no idea. Lots of fodder for us armchair coaches. I would not wish that decision on anyone.

I don't have a lot of confidence in Comrie as a starter in the playoffs, he did ok in the regular season, but when the Jets had Laurent Brossoit as a backup, I would not have hesitated to give him a start in the playoffs.

LA Kings are on the ropes. To beat Edmonton, they would have to play perfect hockey, and they didn't. A couple mental lapses was the difference in a couple games. That was the difference between winning the games, and losing them. Last night they were just flat. Playing like the wind has been let out of their sails, after the game 4 overtime loss. Game five going to Edmonton is going to be a tough one. It will be interesting to see what Kings team shows up. It's put up or shut up time.
GKG !!!!!!!
