NHL playoff!!

Lets face it. The teams that are making it to the second round are the cream of the crop. They are all great hockey teams.

Heres a quote from Lui.

He is probably even more focused now! And you thought he was good against St Luis? Just wait...

He is currently the best playoff goaltender.

Looks like the Nucks will be playing the Hawks!

Hawks will be looking for revenge after thier last 4-0 loss to the Nucks.

Will be up hill for them though. Nucks have home ice advantage for 2 games.

Cant find the series schedule though. I have heard the first game is Thursday night,followed by Saturday.

Anyone know for sure?

Nothing to do with your goalie tonight. Lundquist makes that save 9 times out of 10. :angry4: They actually played OK too...

I knew that 2-0 lead was tenuous especially after game 3 when they got absolutely taken apart. It was like a sleeping dragon was awoken.

Oh well, baseball season has officially started for me now.
 
How in the heck is game 7 of the Devils/Canes NOT on TV??? What a joke for Versus and the NHL. Looks like OT and I can only get radio?? Pathetic. Nice job Bettman - even if its not his fault, I blame him!
 
Caps are a wierd team. It seems like they can turn it on or off at will. I hope they keep it turned on and spare us the drama.

We had the Rangers/Caps game here, during breaks they went to the Jersey game and got pretty much the whole 3rd period after the Caps game ended. Shocking ending to say the least.

Excellent pairings in the 2nd round, should be some great hockey.

Awesome to see Caps overcome a 3 to 1 game defecit. The Devils game was a bit of a shocker in the last 2 minutes but it is 60 minutes of hockey not 58 no time to get sloppy because it's almost over. Round 2 should be some awesome hockey!

Being a goalie for nearly 40 years and a coach, I know good goaltending. Detroit doesn't have it. Adequate, maybe. I'm sure that you're happy that they have a good defense.

Now if you were referring to Brodeur, and got mixed up, I can understand that. :thumrigh:

Well considering they haven't played in well over a week I'll take the win, they should be stronger next game. Probably a good reality check for them and they still walked away with the win.

I'll be interested to see how the Red Wings fare after their layoff, same for the Bruins.
 
The Washington/Pitt game was awesome, OV and Crosby are something else, if Crosby could stop whining for a few minutes I might even like him. Yeah Sidney, they throw hats on the ice, no need to whine about it, would have been the same drill if it was in Pitt.

Go Canucks, big game tonight!
 
Another win for the Nucks!!!!

They shut the Hawks down. Very few good chances for the Hawks.

And a defensive shutdown game is what the Nucks are masters of.

I was on the Nucks websight reading some of the posts prior to the game.

Some fool thought Luongo should be traded and is overpaid.

Man,he had a bad night last game in Vancouver. One bad game and we should trade him?

His bad game was mainly due to that large Dustins intereference in his crease.
Nucks took care of him tonight!

I see Chicago's coach is doing a lot of line juggling. Aint gonna help.

Canuck victory in 5.
