NHRA Facebook Feb. 14 is a easy way to find it.
Maybe someone can post it on here for me?

318 definitely will run!I just watched the Missel video, thats crazy speed from a well built 318 !!
So is the lift restricted by the rules? It depends on how much you can do yourself.
If you have to pay a top engine builder = $10,000 + and you
supply all the core parts.
The Wagon is a small Valve (1.78/1.50) with a .375 lift camshaft
and not much compression to work with.
To be competitive you better find a way to make this 145 HP engine
produce 400HP plus in this heavy Wagon!
I see. So duration rules are unlimited and of course sounds like rollers are legal too. Pretty slick, John!Stock Lift as produced
Basically I take the fastest rate of lift roller camshaft I
can fine and reproduce and reduce it to stock lift.
Pretty much square when finished. Then take a tool steel
or ceramic bottom lifter with insane Valve Spring Pressure
(200++) on the seat and never let it idle at all.
Thanks John. It's cheaper than I thought it would be.It depends on how much you can do yourself.

Cool interview !!!So is the lift restricted by the rules?
Roller Rockers are now legal but I do not use them.I see. So duration rules are unlimited and of course sounds like rollers are legal too. Pretty slick, John!
It could be much cheaper if you pick a class that does not have manyThanks John. It's cheaper than I thought it would be.
I thought you said up there ^^^ that you use a roller style cam. Do you use flat lifters on a roller lobe?Roller Rockers are now legal but I do not use them.
I can play with the pads on the cast adjustable rockers to
play with the rate of lift to get a bit of more lift earlier.
No roller lifters = they would be cheaper than the billet cams
and tool steel coated solids that are legal and most guys uses.
I use a hydraulic lifter with a ceramic puck (think space shuttle)
on the bottom and travel shimmed down to about .010 to cushion the
hard but fragile material!
Gosh, I bet that was fun!It could be much cheaper if you pick a class that does not have many
fast cars in it and you do not need to be a top Alpha Dog!
I finished in the top 3 in the Division the first few years when I only had
about $6,000 (1995 Dollars) in my entire Demon. I had a small pickup
and an open trailer with a crew consisting of a 5 year old and a 12 year old
(Single Parent). I had the time of my life doing it!
My friend Mark races in Stock Eliminator an Escort that he probably has less than
$3,000. invested but a lot of time and effort and does well.
Another friend Gary just won last week a Stock/Superstock Combo in Tucson with a
Cavalier that he pulls on an open trailer with a small truck.
But I made a lot of enemies and I could not stand to see them beat me
Heads Up in class = So I opened up my mind and wallet for the next 30
years. It takes a lot of both of them!
Oh I'm sure, but quite obviously you found a way to make it work at least for what you're doing.Yes
But I do not recommend it to anyone as
the required spring pressure is enormous to
try to get them to comply and not bounce
and be a total killer on everything!
