Ok, so some of you know i have a 1994 Chevy Silverado pickup that i bought new and still have. Anyhow, i have fixed a bunch of little things it needed to get it back on the road, and during my online search for a similar site to fabo but for GMT400 pickups a few months back, i found the Chevy truck legends site sponsored by GM. I started up an account and listed photos of my truck along with a brief history of it, and that i dont plan to ever sell it because its been such a great vehicle, then i pretty much forgot about the website as i shifted gears and life moved forward to other things. So last night i have this box that came in the mail. I didnt recognise the senders address, and it wasnt something i ordered. I open the box, and there is a thank you card from Chevy truck legends stating they are going to be sending me a ball cap and decal for my truck in a few weeks, and in the box was a 1/24th scale diecast Chevy Silverado model as a gift. Wow i was stoked. I collect diecast models and thought this was such a great gift from them, that i wanted to share. Thanks Matt
They used to have it more than anybody. Remember the "Good Guy" pricing of the Direct Connection days? There was a time when they gave a damn.

cool. honda sent me a little a little dicast car too. same model and color of my car.. the car even got a birthday card when it was a year old..lol
Good on Chevrolet for doing this! I've always preferred their trucks (and GMC) over the others from say 2000 and on......... My 2004 GMC 3/4 ton 4X4 is still an awesome truck with just over 60,000 miles on it (102,000 km) and don't ever plan to replace it.
