Nobody told me raising just the seat one inch would lower everything else in the cabin by an inch.
Dang it.

No disrespect here, but that's common sense.

I am 5-11, or was, but I hate feeling like I'm in a bathtub. I had my 70RR buckets on some junk bearings I found, about 3/4" I think. Both my pickups have had the driver's seats raised, but of course they are 173 way electric. I "threw" some of the cheap "racing" buckets in the Dart, and adapted them to the stock rails. No idea how much that raised them, but I had trouble getting my thighs between the raised sided of the buckets and under the wheel, LOL

The 6 way seats in my 70 Charger sure made a difference.

I raised the buckets in my 70 Dart before a big road trip and found the seats MUCH more comfortable. So much so that I plan to raise the bench seats in my other Darts. On the side_I just got a 2016 Dart for a daily driver and it has a manual lever that lets you move the seat up and down on demand!
