Most of my "Dream" cars are Mopar (the obvious, Superbird, Hemi Cuda, etc.), and I had some nice Ford and GM iron back in the day, so I guess I already own my non-Mopar dream car, my supercharged 2012 GT Mustang. It has a big Kenne Bell blower on the 5.0, makes 600 to the wheels and runs 10's all day long banging gears through the really crappy MT82 6 speed.

    Another tough question. I'll go with either a 68-70 Chevelle 396 4 speed or a 67 Fairlane 427.
But I'm happy with my 93 Mustang Notchback. Loads of cheap fun.

I think I would like another 1970 Camaro. had one as a teenager.
Lost my innocence in that thing, had a blast, and a lot of great memories.
Then it was just a 16 yr old used car, that needed fixed up. Now I think I could work wonders with it.

Never owned one but I hear the 312 4 barrel bird was a dandy driver and having room for just 2 people would be fun :D

I like the small bumper Mavericks too. Those or the 1970 Torino. The Torino reminds me of a 71 B body with the curves.
Not a Ford guy here, but I do like those cars. I owned Chevys for years, but if I had to go NON Mopar, I'd be interested in a 70-73 Trans Am. I love the styling and they are great handling cars. I had a 76 Camaro with a 350, 4 speed, 3.42 Posi and a Trans Am suspension. That was a fun car to drive.

Hey Mike :D. When I was a Plumber back in the mid 70's, my superintendent restored 50's Fairlane's and early Bird's as a hobby. He eventually quit the construction trade and went full time with his shop. He did some award winning cars, and I got to drive a few of them. The 312 Y block engine was not a real powerhouse, but in the lightweight T-Bird, it was a really nice package. Along with the status that those cars had, it was a wonderful experience to cruise one down the road.

I always wondered about there engines they used Rick, a friend of mine had an old Ford truck with the 312 engine in it with an automatic and it screamed the 1/8 mile with a 2 barrel, must have been the gears but it was quick :D
The one in the picture I took was from the great American race this year :D

yep its his first car, bought it when he was 16 years old! Its what they called a "Race Bird" as its a no frills options, but has the 4 spd, 4 barrel holley, and some other rare options.

I'd go a Falcon Hardtop ( red & black is an XA, blue one is an XB), or an XW/XY Falcon GTHO ( fastest 4 dr production sedan in the world in 1971-2)....all powered with a 351C, and toploader and 9".

I bought my dream car 4 years ago. It was ugly yellow when I brought it home and I had to actually replace every peice on it. But the results turned out fantastic. Ive been honored with a calendar pic for 2014 in the C3VR vette calendar.

now my dream car is my 66 Dart. Im hoping for as good of results as My vette turned out to be!
