Norm won't be coming to Cheers

-
Mr Wendt spent a fair amount of time on P.E.I . I seen him around a few times but never talked to him . He played a great character .

R.I.P. Norm .

Yep, Norm was a fun and sometimes crazy Cheers member, seen him fake passing out to get a yuppie out of his stool, we never did get to see his wife on Cheers named Vera except when hit in the face with a pie.. I seen Mr Wendt on Beker as a bar tender, and on Columbo.
If any of the younger crowd or older never seen Cheers it's a fun show with a good cast.

I have nearly 5 or six collectable things from Cheers, or at least are Identical, the bell, port hole, hand pointing sign and a pair of mugs, so yes, I am a fan. Where everyone knows your name, thank you Norm ! Cheers!! Rip my friend

RIP Norm.

I took a picture of my wife beside him (cardboard cutout) in the original Bull & Finch in Boston.

Yes.... R.I. P Norm.

My wife and I had lunch at the Bull & Finch in Boston on our travels to the UK back in 1990. Lovely place and it s=certainly did have a lot of the features that you could see in the show.
I bought a couple of nice beer glasses, and we snagged some sugar sachets. I had a tee shirt that I wore for many years until it no longer looked right.

The guys at my Electrical supplier shop greet me every time I enter just like I was Norm arriving at the bar. That's been going on for about 5 years now. :D

I've been using he term "Normed" to refer to a situation where a group of people call your name when you enter a room.

Not sure how universally accepted that is, but it should be.

Sat next to him on a plane from London to LA. Walked with him through customs. He was great on the show but lets just say he clearly did not embrace his fans. It is sad he is gone but I was much less of a fan after that experience.
