Norwalk bound again

well I lost second round Saturday at Keystones Night Of Fire race. I was sitting on the bye after a .0005 light in the 1st round but we ended up with an even amount of cars and at 2am I took a little nap at the line. Matt and I got home at 3:30am Sunday morning. This Thursday after Matt gets off work we are Norwalk bound for a nice 3 day big money race. It’s been a crazy race season.

Well we arrived at Norwalk yesterday evening and go all set up. A bunch of the guys held a practice tree race and my son matt red lite in the finals -.001 to the other guys .001 green so matt ended up with some cash in his pocket. Pretty sure I’m going to let him drive all 3 races this weekend after I had a real bad sinus attack mid week from 4 hours of weedwacking. On his one and only time today he just ran a 6.10 with a .007 light. Sure would be nice to win one of those big checks.

Some heavy hitters here for sure. A well run beautiful track with big payouts will do that.

Well we won a grand total of 150.00 today. Tomorrow is the big 40,000.00 to win day so I hope we can make it to the later rounds.

Well we ran till 10:00 Saturday night and the rain moved in again. We started the 3rd round of Saturday’s race 8am Sunday morning. Matt had a .001 redlite in the 4th round at 77 cars left. They worked down to 5 cars and it started raining hard. Pretty sure instead of waiting all day they decided to split the money and they all left with over 14,000.00 each. Not bad, not bad at all. Sunday’s Race was cancelled and we get a choice of 200.00 entry money back of we can lock in our spot for next years race. That was my choice as I loved this race. Here’s another one of Matt’s passes. I have a Friday Saturday race at Keystone next week and then a Saturday Sunday 2500.00 Sniper Race at Keystone the following week. Then two weeks after that back to Norwalk for a big no box race.
