Finally after a long search and e-mailing every recking yard in the country and e-mailing many places I got one good reply for a used set. Then the same day I found these I got them today and they look great this is one of the last parts needed that Im rounding up for finishing restoration this winter. Oh happy day. Now next to find is the round hold down ring for 4-speed shifter boot.

Wow, those are rare. I had a friend with a 64 Dart GT and between those and the GT guitar pick, I'm not sure what was harder to find.

I saw those on ebay as well, I did not bid because Laysons.com sells an excellent reproduction for 289.00 a pair, and it is cheaper if you download their catalog and order from it around 249.00 and without dents.

Here is a note that I got from Laysons for the flawed headlanp rings that Rick advertised on this fourm a while back

Hi Milo,

The $129.00 is for EACH ring, a pair now would be $258 plus shipping....per Dave Layson himself.....

Thanks,
Rick

So, the price in the 2010 catalog changes before the 2011 catalog is released?

I bought a pair of those Laysons rings. Pretty flimsey, already a have a small ding in one from road pebbles. I ended up taking some fibreglass resin and filling up the back of the rings to give them a little reinforcement. I also have a pair of stock rings I had re-done. Much sturdier and the cost to have them done was the same as the repo rings from Laysons.

I have a pair from Laysons, they are decent. I like the idea of filling them with something, maybe spray foam?
