Speaking of bust another thousand...........BOUGHTANOTHERBOAT!!!

12' about a 55 Crestliner with decked bow. I'm happy, guy wanted 850 with an old Merc which I did not want. Left the Merc and the trailer lying there on the driveway, and pulled the little boat home. Considerably less than the 850 they wanted. Rated I believe for a 25 hp had steering in it at one time, still has the cable guides.

Just junked another, and tomorrow will start junking the "free boat"

This one belongs to the deceased friend of a girl at work. She is a mess. This was last registered in Utah in 01, and stored outside, transom completely rotten, and water in between the floor and hull bottom. Has a 65 Evinrude 40hp electric shift. It shows lots of corrosion around the carb and engine block/ flywheel, and it's electric shift. May not be worth fiddling with. Very few parts other than the engine, the fittings are all corroded through the chrome. In other words I did her a huge favor hauling it off. Trailer is "icky" and needs lots of work

Hey Del, I'd be interested in a good front chrome light if you have a "spare" lol. Mine is pitted and lens are cracked. Rather get a good old one.
Ya you did her a favor, that reeks of effort getting rid of that.

That's a decent lookin little boat.

Well I just got in from pretty much done junking my 4th and I hope to Gawd final fiberglass boat. This was the "free" Sea King which had the 55hp Chrysler built Sea King outboard. So I'm not complainin'. The "owner" is either a flake or dying, and there's no paperwork, it has some damage needs to be fixed, and the stern wood is waterlogged. It was not yet, however, rotten. Too late now. I don't know who built Sea King boats for Wards in 67--68 but that was a hell of a boat. Much heavier built than the other two. "It did not go easily" If you look at the photo of the transom lying on the ground you can see it's wet. Water was "up in" the void between the floor and hull. One of the best parts off it is the shifter / throttle quadrant, and unfortunately, it is not designed to mount "stand alone" but rather mounted into the side as you can see. Of the junk I've saved, it would have been the best
