I just bought myself a really solid '69 Dart here recently and shouldn't be looking at other cars but, someone was selling my favorite style of A-body, a '68 Barracuda notchback, and I just couldn't resist going to look at it! Bad move on my part as I brought it home with me!:banghead: Sadly, I can only keep one so I'll have to get the Dart fixed up and sell her so I can get this Cuda up to snuff. I spent a lot of my allotted budget for the Dart buying it. It needs a repaint, some interior work, and the drive shaft shortened to fit with the new rear end. It should be fun!

While this car will never be a show car, it should be a nice driver for myself. 318 w/904, PS, and factory A/C. It came with quite a few parts as well. He said that his best friend, who was working on it with him, passed away and he just couldn't bring himself to work on it anymore. So, it sat for several years in a car port with a nice car cover over it until he finally decided to sell it.

Already installed:
Strange S60 Dana rear end, 3.73 w/powerlok, adjustable snubber, and complete new rear drum brakes from Strange
SS leaf springs
Edelbrock IAS shocks
B&M Megashifter
Aftermarket bucket seats
Nice aftermarket steering wheel
Rechromed front bumper

Stuff that came with it:
SSBC front disc conversion
PST polygraphite super front end rebuild kit w/inner ends, sleeves, and idler
PST 1 1/8 front and 7/8 rear swaybars
Hedman 78050 headers
Flowmaster 2.25 exhaust
Flowmaster series 50 mufflers
New '68 Barracuda exhaust tips with hangers
New repop sill plates

I might be forgetting a few things! Anyways, $4k for everything. I think that it was a decent deal. What do you guys think?

Oh, yeah, some pics might be nice, huh? I just brought her home and she is still dirty from her years of hibernation. I hope to get started on her soon but I'll have to sell the Dart first.

Yeah, I just couldn't pass it up! I have always thought the notchbacks had such a cool look to them and I've never had one. Hopefully it doesn't get too hot so I can work on it and get it on the road at the least.

Whoa, good job...that's one hell of a deal you got!

That wide stripe doesn't look half bad. Maybe its just my monitor but the cowl vent looks fanned, like \\\\ //// .

Thanks, guys! Yeah, to be on the road it needs the drive shaft shortened, some decent tires, the brake line to fit the Dana, and the exhaust installed. Nothing too major. I just want to get it drivable and see from there what I want or need to do to it.

Wow! Great fish catch. I agree that you need to watch out for the Police - LOL!

I like the color and stripe combo. Those seats look comfy and with good lateral support.,

Have fun playing with your great catch!
