I'm not sure which of the 2 fittings on the sandwich plate supplies oil to the remote filter and which is the return line fitting. Can someone point me in the right direction here??
Thanks

looking at the block itself, the center hole is the return, the small hole underneath is the pressurized output hole

look at your plate and see what hole lines up where

OK thanks for that...the next hurdle is that I am not sure if the baffled plate and gasket from the hardware kit in the pic below, is meant to fit between the block and the sandwich plate for a remote oil filter or is it installed only when a 90degree oil filter is attached to the block??...If so does the raised centre section point inwards towards the block, or outwards towards the sandwich plate
Thanks

What you pictured is for niether of the applications mentioned, that plate (with the proper fitting) will allow you to spin an oil filter directly to the block

I would imagine it does not get used with a sandwich plate

OK thanks for that...It definitely answers my question

Glad to help

If you place the sandwich plate on the block it should be pretty obvious how it all lines up and works
