Kids are about gone...and want to get ahold of some old contacts I used to used back in the day when I used to hang on Moparts. I know there was a big rig-a-ma-roll back then and thus mulitple sites popped up--and don't care of the politics of it all, though it kinda was a mystery to me, of all that went on, back then and why and was so low on the totem pole, well, it just didn't matter. Anyway--that was WAY back.

I used Mark Nixon quite a bit for some hard to find items, and talked to Dennis at Wildcats quite a bit. Dennis was a world of knowledge, as well as Mark. Haven't tapped some of the new talent here, which am sure is top notch. I don't know if he(Mark Nixon) still does...what he does or even if he is still a member here, or even about Dennis--been so long outta the loop. Figured I'd ask...for giggles.

Thanks,

I used to/still am...Kingmopar on Mopart's.

I can't remember how many years ago it was but I think Moparts was the first web board I signed up on. I was on awhile, then I got tied up on Turbo-Dodge when I started selling my Shelby collection. When I tried to log back in I couldn't for some reason so I started all over with a new username and password. I'm not on there enough to really keep up with what's going on but it seems like there is some kind of falling out periodically. Awhile back there was a thread there about old members and Mark's name came up. I don't remember any of the details but it seems like he hadn't been on there for a long time and may have gotten crossed up some way with some of the guys on there. You might be able to do a search and find the thread but I never could get the search function to work for me. I believe Mark was on here for awhile but I haven't seen anything from him for a long time.
Anyway, welcome to FABO. I like it here. It's pretty laid back and there's lots of helpful people on here.

Wow...I googled about Mark...and it brought me right back to this site where he screwed a member(MoparRon) over 1300 bucks on some type of truck deal. I had some dealings with Mark way back then and then read this-- and it just blows me outta the water. Just seems way outta his personality, but time and circumstances can change people. Mark always treated me well, for small items I would get from him. I remember him traveling a great distance to help a fellow female Moparts member install an engine in her Dart for her, along with other folks. We went back and forth over a fan for a heater I was trying to locate. At one time, he had a great reputation, of being honest and wanting to help people. It's sad to see people change like this.
