I was looking through a photo album and found some pictures of some nice rides. Photos are from the Mopar Nationals at Englishtown Raceway Park, NJ., way back in 1999.

I miss Englishtown. There is a documentary and the whole place on YouTube that is amazing. Town has made rules so it cannot ever come back.
Very sad.

Here buy a house next to a race track. Complain about the noise. Why buy the house next to a race track and help get it shut down. People are stupid. Not exactly the case at Englishtown but close.

Yeah. It's kind of depressing going to the swap meet there now (what's left of the swap meet, anyway).
The stands and the tower are all there, but the track is broken up, and the far half of the track, along with the adjacent lots, are all storage for hundreds of wrecked cars for an auction.

It's a damn shame.
