I started this Japanese Maple tree in the year 2000:cheers:
And I was not going to loose it.

So I made a plan:-k and it is getting close to spring!! and it had to be dun.

I needed to think and not have no distractions, So no help was good help for this old guy.:sign3:

The hole family had a fit when they herd what I had dun!!:boxing:
I got out at 8:30 am and they did not have a clue

But I called Treva and ask her to come to the old home place and help me.

She asked me, What I are you doing!! I told her I needed help putting something in the truck.

I did not get a picture:banghead: of the hole I had help digging to put it in.

But it is in the ground with 120lb's of top soil and peatmoss .

I have been worried about getting it on the hill all winter.

Now its dun.:thumleft::drinkers:

1-800-jap-mapl anytime.lol hehe.
I wish I brought mine from my old house too.
once I get my yard more situated I be planting some

They don't take allot of work after the first year.
And they like protection from the wind and like afternoon sun.
Don't ever fertilize them and give them drainage.
I will be butting out 25 plants just to sell in three years! 40 to 80 dolors a peace. with a 1.50 investment, and it keeps me out of the house.

Know I check and make sure all the roots are good and wet.:read2:

Leanna called me as I was watering and said the intake is on its way.

Some of use gear heads have a green thumb too.
And this thread will be complete when you see it this summer:clock:.

mike, I cut down a maple a lil smaller than yours but apparently not enough. I was mowing the lawn with a lil snapper walk behind with the safety handle pressed in.I hit that stump and when I hit it the handle stuck into my right ******** and I hit the ground hard for around 5 minutes, I looked afterwards and everything was still there but I took the whole stump out 3 days later ,heh

She made it

memike happy:-D

And here is a yearling I started last year.
