Looks like a lift company just bought a really nice 55 chevy. For full boat retail.

SUre would like to know who sells that lift. Wanna make sure i dont buy one by accident.

Well, ****....it sucks no matter what but if the surface couldn't handle the load, you can't blame the manufacturer. I'd bet they require 4" of concrete at a minimum. You'd think that building has at least that.

That's why my car never get's lifted more than 3 feet.
I don't like seeing that, such destruction on a beautiful car for the want of a good secure lift.

That was a beautiful car, I don't care what anyone thinks.
To me, it looks like the leg folded on the top and it didn't punch through the floor.
At either rate, it's too bad that this happened and I hope nobody was hurt...

Looks like it is a light duty lift that wasn't properly bolted down and/or braced, and possibly overloaded.

From what I can see it looks like the lift was set up on some plastic tiles and shifted, possibly the car wasn't centered on the platform. Damn shame, I like the tri five Chevys.

It's a triple stacker Champion. As I noted above, the dealers booth, his car. They say a leg went through the pavement and off she went.

No fear - 3/4” latches - tube inside of a tube structure - 12”x12” foot plates - 6” rebar reinforced floor.
 Too bad for the loss or damage of ANY vintage AMERICAN car

….the work lift.

That’s the way to do it Mr. Sinister!

What brand lift is it?

Was that Tim Taylor's wife's car?
Remember when Tim dropped a beam on THAT one? Lemme guess... Brand of lift was a binford
