Orange or Blue??

Any of you Mopar Folks have your 318 painted Mopar Orange?,Mine is the correct Blue as per specs, But I really like Orange, Your Opinion ?? Would it kill the Looks @ Car Shows ???ops:

I like the red or orange better than the blue.I am painting my 67 318 red.

Mine is Blue in my 67 Dart, the slant 6 was red

Painted the 340 in my 72 Hemi Orange Challenger older chrysler RED

IF I ever get to build a 69 big block Dart it will be probably VIPER RED

So, unless it is a # Matching high dollar resto, paint the color of your choice

Mopar Engine Green.

Do not remember what year they did this but I like it because it is different.

Here is one that I did and Mopar people loved it!

It would truly depend. Is the motor coming out and need to be painted? Does the blue just need to be touched up?

If it just needs to be touched up, I would probably keep it blue.

If the motor is coming out and you like orange, I would paint it orange.

I like orange but the blue stays cleaner lookin longer. Your car your choice!

yep, it's your choice what ever color you like...my 340 dart is blue I think 69's were red but my car is blue so that's why I went blue beside it's not a numbers matching car either has a 71 340...

IMHO i think it depends on the car color. I want to one day paint my car orange. So an orange engine would really not stand out at all! something like blue would jump out a lot more. that's just my thought on the matter. I do have a bachelors in fine arts so i must no nothing about colors.:dontknow:

I agree paint it any color you want. when I see Orange or Blue it makes me think chevy or ford.I went with comando gold, it,s differant and it is a mopar engine color

I went with the body color on my last Dart,probably going to be the same with th /6 !!
