My A6 was a '15 3.0T I had an incident with a Boss Mustang on the highway. Let's just say when we "hit it" I left him in the dust. That car handled and accelerated like a rocket. Not what you'd expect from a 4 door sedan.
Oh yes had a couple of 3.0 and I really like the 8 spd trans ....have seen so few problems with any audi transmissions

I used to worry about that with my 70 vert Cuda', which is a total rust bucket money pit of a POS, but it's mine...
SO, I'm cloning a 71 since nothing will be "original" anyway and I prefer the 71 over the 70. Technically, the things I'll be changing can be reversed with a pile of front end sheetmetal, some tail lights and a few other detail things followed by a paint job. Won't ever be my problem.

Yea i like original but when it comes to rusted out pos how original will it be in the end

Think it had 1/4 orq metal left
Engine trans everything was gone when the started
Why not just take a car to clone if that for gone
