Paint code

My 71 Demon's color code is B5. It also shows a color code B7 for the upper door frame. What are they referring to as an upper door frame, the door jambs? The car was completely surface rusted on the outside so I don't have any differences in color to go by if the B7 was on the exterior anywhere. I also have M1B7 which is "M" medium trim grade, "1" cloth and vinyl bench and "B7" dark blue which is the interior color. A little insight on the B7 "upper door frame" color would save me some guessing. Thanks.

"Upper door frame" is the inside metal door frame above the upholstered door panel.
The door jams on your car will be B5, the inside paint will be B7.

I went out and looked at the car and I see that the interior part of the door is darker than the door jamb...never paid attention to that before. Thanks for the insight!

Upper door frame is actually all of the visible metal on the door on the inside...

Split the door at the weatherstrip, outside one color, inside the other color.

Pretty Normal, One or the other! My fish is B7/B5.

The door is split at the weather strip with inner side in B5 Blue Fire Metallic! And Exterior is B7 Jamaica Blue!
