I bought this 73 Dart Swinger last November and there was no issues with the paint. Of course, as things go, about 2 months later, a small section of the paint on the front left fender begins to bubble up. Any idea what caused this?

Thats not paint bubbling up...thats plastic cracking. Thats caused from plastic being applied too think and incorrectly.

bondo bondo bondo.

looks like your hood and beak also have some problems

I circled some things to look at, take a magnet and find out how much bondo is really there.

Take the car down to bare metal and start over. Do all the work yourself and then you will know if it's right or not. You could also get a new fender:)

Theres Probably A Giant Hole Under There.

Maybe not. Could just be a dent/depression that someone puttied over with excessive filler. My Dart had several areas like that...in addition to the holes. :)

I agree it needs to be stripped and redone. The only way to know what's under is to get it to bare metal.
