Hi Guys, it has been an entire year since Woody brought the Dart over to my garage in stock and very beat up condition. The body had damage on almost every panel, the drivers door was pretty straight, but then I had to weld up the chrome strip holes and then it became as much work as all the rest of the body. Both 1/4 panel lowers were rusted out and replaced, uppers were badly wavy, fenders were bad as well. It had a vinyl top, so I had hours and hours of acne repair and the lead in spots were less than perfect too. He had me French in a '67 Cuda flip gas cap, I cut-off rain gutters (just shoot me, what was I thinking), filled antenna hole, and the engine compartment well, I filled many slots and holes in that as well. Anyway, here is how the House of Kolors "Tangelo Pearl Orange" turned out. I apologize for not posting more this year, but I work a day office job and worked on the Dart every night and weekend, so I was busy getting this far and couldn't take the time to post. If anyone wants specific pics of the mini tubs or sub frame connectors, torque boxes, etc....just ask and I will post what I have. I have over 600 pics stored. Now the fun part starts when I get back home from Kansas. They closed my plant in Oregon, so I am going back and forth for a year.

Looks sweet.Damn,it takes so much patience for paint and body.

Thanks for the props guys, I needed that. Just back from Elk Hunting in Oregon, so I need to bust a move on the Dart project between now and Thanksgiving. Yes, I am going to wet sand and polish.

Thxs, Tom

Okay Jim, it was a lot of work, but we now have 14-1/2" of clearance between the frame and the wheel well now. Plenty of room for some big meats!!
Here's the pics of cutting them out, tacking in the pieces, welding them up and finished.
Lots of blind grinding and hot dingleberries going down your shirt.

Good luck, Tom
