Painting cowl area

When painting the cowl area what do you guys do about trash beneath the vents? My car has been back to the shop 3 times now and there`s still trash in the paint. I`m certain it`s coming up from below the vent in the cowl panel.

You need to get up in there and clean out the vent. Take off your vent boxes. Blow air in one vent and put a vacuum in the other then switch. Do this till the junk is gone. This may take a while.
