Anyone have a pic of a passenger side mirror? I found one that I already had and I'm not sure if it would be correct for a '70 Dart.

Thanks in advance!
Craig

70 darts did'nt come with passenger side mirrors???????????????????????

does it match the driver's side?

Well, I had a pair of doors that appear to match, the one on the drivers side door of the pair matches mine, the one on the passengers side has a longer post, I didn't know if it was like that because the passenger side is farther away so the mirror has to sit higher?

I've seen some pictures of Darts w/ the passenger mirror so I figured it wouldn't be that taboo to put on. I've always found myself looking to the passenger side and not seeing a mirror there, lol.

Like this...it's just too far away to see though!

you could get one for the passengerside. i will post a pic, but i have to take one first.........

no, I was was stupid not to upload a pic yesterday, it's on my camera at home, I'll try to find a pic of it on the internet

post a part number when you can and then we can figure what it is from. the door looks like a dart but the mirror sounds like it is from something else ......

the right side mirror was available option on anything. They were more common on wagons. The outer edge of the bowl is deeper because the glass is turned farther. Same mirror with shallow bowl and cable remote was used on right hand drive builds.

On the mirror I have, the edge wasn't deep at all, the whole dish turned...seems like something off a 50's car?

I put a matching mirror on my passenger side because I like having two mirrors and think it makes the car look better. Unfortunately, I used the drivers door measurements as a guide where to mount the passenger mirror. Have to really strain to use the damn thing.

If I had to do it over again, I would have someone hold the mirror on the passenger door where I could see out it, then mark the door. Better to have a useful mirror than one that looks the same as the driver's side.

Part #023

huh??? there should be a chrysler pentastar with a 5 to 7 digit number trailing it. it should be on the flat part of the base .......if no number other that #023 is on it then it is either aftermarket or from another type of car

Would that be stupid to use on a '70 Dart? Seeing as on everyone's the two sides match?

I would install that mirror only if the screw holes were already in my door.
