Pertronix kit for HP 273 dual point

Hello guy's just tryen to get some ideas on converting my stock presto lite dual point dizz to a pertronix kit or somthing like it. I want to keep the dist in service due to it beeing o.e. & for the advance cure allready in it. Has any of you done this? i talked to pertronix they said they dont have a kit for my dist.? what the diff between mine & a 340 presto lite? I know when i went to get new points & cond for it that was fun it takes napa echlin cs721a points. They keept tryen to sell me 720a points but they were backword's for my dist. I did it and it worked good. I had to send my distributor to Pertronix and they found a kit for it. I believe it was for a late 50's Hemi dual point. I'll post the kit number here as soon as I can find it. tmm

That's kinda strange since they have one to fit the Prestolite distributors in the early Hemis.

Thank you Thank you Thank you Toolman!!! I knew there had to be somthen for it. ive been fallowing yer Chager 273 build up & the top shelf info you put out. I just ordered that same e-4 cam for my hipo (ill pull it this winter & freshen er up) hows the low end with it? i.e. below 2k? again thank you!:thumblef:

Thanks' again toolmanmike! i checked my local speed shop in town, & sure enoph they had one in stock. (speedway) droped rite in & runs great. seems to be more stable through out the whole rpm range. :cheers::cheers: Thank you!
