Here is my dads car :glasses7:
Very nice! Great example of why a Mopar does not need to be Orange or Purple.
Looks like blue to me!!That is perfection Geof! What color is it?

I agree, plus, that original Citron Gold really pops in the sunlight!! Also has Citron interior :glasses7:
What color is the dash and carpeting in your dad's car? Got any interior pics?
For everyone who is going to tell me, I am aware that I have dodge hub caps on my valiant barracuda but they are all I have to fit the 13"
wheels so please do not be ofended LOL. Cheers.
Is your car a Canadian built model?? Never saw that dash trim set before!! Do tell!! Geof
Yes it is a Canadian made Valiant Barracuda, I to have not seen this
dash set up on any other Barracuda. I did come across the very same
dash and cluster for sale here on fabo and pm-ed the guy a least seven times with no response his was from a 65 valiant. I do not know if they ran out of dashes and just slapped that one in or if this is common to the
Canadian version , it did look very original to my car when I loosened it up to change my light switch and peeked at the not faded paint shape that matches it perfectly. I would like to know how unique it is thou. I do not mind if it is a one of a kind cool thing. But I would like to hear from other
1965 cuda owners.

Well, i'll be first...
I've owned this car since 1993, finding it in a field behind where I was building a friend his shop. It had been in a fender bender in 1978 and was waiting for me to come and save it. It was originally yellow with a black stripe and a 273 2 bbl/auto trans. After close to 12 years working on it for my wife it was finally done sometime in early 2000 something. It now sports a 66 Commando 273, original trans and 8 3/4 with 3:55's. It now has K-H front disc, manual brakes and steering, and everything on it has been restored to original condition, or as close to it as I wanted it to be. The wife picked out the color, as it is her car, and has tons of love and work put into it by both her and myself.
I am currently working on it's clone in convertible form, as the wife now wants a drop top. I guess I'll be taking over the FB, but thats OK, I love to drive this car!! Geof
and i cant find 1 64/ 65 drivers seat no ripps or tears can be dirty no tracks needed then i can get these 66s out
It's the same dash as my 65 dart which makes sense since it is Canadian.
