Picture request - Red or red/white interiors

So,with red dash, headliner, carpet and package tray, should the door panels and upper trim all be red for white seats? Or should the door panels be white?

With white seats and door panels, should the uppers be red or white?

white: door panels, arm rest, front and rear seats, seat backs, hinge covers.

Red: upper and lower door paint, console, seat belts, dash, headliner, kick panels, dash pad, carpet.

They didn’t offer a red and white for 69 or 70 A-bodies.

They did offer maroon and white for 68 A-bodies and I think B-bodies. That’s were I got the combos listed above. Those original stylists know what they were doing.

They offered 70 E-bodies with Red and White. I think there’s pictures on Hamtramck Historical website

I say this. Like with a black interior car for example, the black is always different shades of black, some gloss, some satin or matte, and sometimes even different blacks. Remember any place that could cause glare for the driver is never gloss.
Like a factory blacked out hood, the AAR TA had the organosol black, a textured satin is matte black. Hood stripes on a 69 RoadRunner were a satin NOT glass.
But interior color schemes were different for lets say, a 64 Sport Fury than for a 70 Duster.

Autoxcuda - Thanks for the clarification! Even if they didn't offer it in 1970, that's how my car is going to be :) Just like the didn't offer fuel injected GenIII Hemis LOL

Really like the idea of white and red. Something different, but looks stock. A plausible what-if.

Here's a Challenger R/T clone:

These are generic chrome latch seat belts. Matches 66?-69 styles though. Not sure for 1970 A-bodies.

I really like my TorRed interior and white combination! I have always had black, stock cream white and brightens up the inside. Also it sort of adds a subtle sleeper vibe.

The dark red (maroon) with white seats is one of my fav combos, and I have had them all.
Plus those white seats are cooler!

FWIW - I decided on white door panels and seats. Trim will all be red. Already ordered dash pad and door panels. Since it is going to be a resto-mod, the front seats will be these. I have seen them installed in a couple of Mopar Resto-mods and they look great. I am told they are very comfortable as well.

Great choice. Just got here and thought I'd throw up a pic of my pretty much daily driver, 54 year owned '70 340 Duster with stock white/red interior.
