I picked these up in a group of parts I bought recently. They are from Bill Miller Enetrprises. They were in 360, measure 4.03 by my very cheap caliper.
Wondering if anyone would have some kind of info as to what they might be. I called BME, they were no help.
Anyway, stock rods, 4.03 , 1/16th rings, floating pins

Sorry, meant to add stock stroke. 1505 grams rod and piston.
By the way, Im the guy got a block and some indy heads from a couple yrs ago

Thats awesome. The 408 had the new AFR heads? Looked NICE!!
The guy I talked with was the son. He said his dad was building a Dart. I didnt meet him or see the car

I have the block also. It doesnt look that good.
I wanted the cam and lifters from it. I just picked up a few other odds and ends to sell or trade or whatever in the future

Yes, it was one of the first few i built with the new AFRs, should be a really nice peice. His old engine, was more of a old school, race only kinda build, I think he bought the car that way. Will be alot more street friendly now.

The block had been blown up previously, and had a poorly installed sleeve in one cylinder, that didn't sit all the way down on the register at the bottom of the bore. The customer said it kept blowing out freeze plugs, so I provided a virgin block for the 408 build. The cam and lifters looked good, I put them in order in a nice plastic lifter box, thinking someone could use them again.

The blocks been in the bed of my truck. It doesnt look good. Itll probably wind up at the scrap metal place.

yes. I have all 8.

There seems to be a valve interference mark in the 5th pic, which would suggest pistons may be offset, different valve pockets, requiring a left and right piston would be necessary.
Just curious , could be my eyes, or the pic.

Good luck
