What about leading pits n pins?
I think he meant using lead (the soft metal you shouldn't eat) to fill pin holes and pits. It's a lost art but maybe you could? What are you asking Clementine?
I just picked up and used some 3m Platinum Plus filler. About $60. Man that's nice stuff, Blows Rage gold away. No need for polyester glaze. What did you use?Picked up some $60 gallon bondo from the auto body supplier in town last week or so. Yeah, it's expensive up front but it is pinhole free when dried, sands like butter smooth with ease. It eliminates the need for a glazing putty, grips extremely tight, can by used over primer without compromising it's hold.
Same stuff. They said they had body filler that went up to twice that in price, but at some point it' not cost effective.View attachment 1715135954
