Please help, my window still leaks!!

Does anybody have any experience with this?? I have a 1967 Dart GT in the shop right now. Had the back window removed to put new clips on for the trim. It's all back together and it leaks. They already redid it once and it still leaks. They're thinking there's no way it's leaking from the gasket. So I go online and find these

My car has a "simulated" vinyl roof meaning it looks just like vinyl but it's painted, from the dealer or something. Anybody had experience with anything like that or know what the differences between the 2 gaskets might be?

I don't know that it's still leaking from the window, but it's still leaking in the same spots. Never leaked until they pulled the back window for the repair, they're trying to figure it out. They say it may be leaking from the trim but I doubt it. They make 2 different gaskets for the back window for a reason, just looking for someone who knows the differences. Like I mentioned in the post, it's not a definite painted top, and it's not a vinyl top. The gasket has been replaced twice, just wonder if we've been getting the wrong gasket all along. They ordered it for a vinyl top.
 
If you don't have a vinyl top car get the non-vinyl roof one. I believe the vinyl is tucked under the seal on true vinyl top cars and sealer is used. If your car originally had a vinyl top then there might be extra holes not getting sealed.
 
Also for 67, did the darts share same style of gasket and mylar lockstrip to the 67 cuda? If yes, then that may be the issue. Precision makes factory style replacemnt gaskets and lockstrip.
 
There's been several posts on this in the past.
I bought both rear gaskets since my 69 Dart was originally a vinyl. The shop used the regular, hardtop gasket which happened to be the much cheaper of the two.
(The vinyl gasket is a bit different in profile due to the extra bulk from the trim plus the vinyl).
Luckily it worked well, but...
my trunk still got wet, but I happen to know its from the trunk seal. The metal rim of the inside trunk was tweaked down a bit and wasn't sealing when closed. (There's many posts here on how best to find that too).

Op is talking back window. Is there a lock strip on the back window?
 
Where does the water show up? Did they use a sealer between the gasket and the body and between the gasket and the glass or just install it dry? I had a persistent leak that was really hard to see - dripped down onto the inner wheel house right where the trunk lid bracket is located and ran down, My local glass shop has an old timer that does just vintage glass. I brought him a new seal, he pulled the glass and he used a black non-hardening sealer in both places - 3 years later, still no leaks.
 
I watched him insert a wire cable inside the rubber as it was shaped in the opening. Then slowly pull it out as the rear glass was pushed against the bead.
This pulled the outside lip of the rubber out without any pinching.
I probably couldn't copy what he did, but made it look easy.
This guy has definitely done this a few hundred times before.
 

went through this on my dart and was told you HAVE to use a non hardening sealer between the glass and the gasket and between the gasket and body. I was told 3M glazing and bedding compound was close to what the factory used and it worked. I wasted a few gaskets and finally got it.
