The driver's side door window on my '65 Val is scratched to @#$%^&. :-?

Is it possible to polish it out? I tried some paint poling compound but that wouldn't touch it (didn't really think it would.)

Is there any difference in the passenger's and driver's side glass? I'm thinking they'd be the same on the '66 down cars, since they're flat.

Thanks!

A friend got the kit from Eastwood. Worked great, but be careful you can put waves in the glass. And he had about $100. in the discs, paste and buffing wheel.

Cerium Oxide will polish the glass very nice and even remove some of the scratches if they are not too deep.

I'm about to do that on my original back glass windshield.

I will definitely post before/after pics, but somehow I don't think all the deep scratches will come out.

if you can feel it with your fingernail it will not buff out , if its flat get a price from a local glass shop , should not not be too bad price wise

dam i can def feel half of my scratches, so i guess replacement glass should be penciled onto the list.

I have had gread success with Pearl Drops tooth paste.
