ported stock head quickness ?

I have a post on unported all ready, this should be a good addition
 
my first set of heads i ported made my car slow down by full sec.!

If i would of had a converter and some gears it probably would have worked out good.

I sucked a valve on set of 360 head and made a real mess of one intake port.(valve ended up in the port side way:violent1:) had to have one intake seat installed and had all exh hardened seats installed. clean up (ported) the bad intake port and then build some porting templates(like the W2 port temples) out of plexi glass and ported all the rest of the intakes bowls.

The hardened exh seats left a machining groove below the seat. ground one of them down and them made templets for the rest of them.

Pulled like a madman on top end! But destroyed all the streetable bottom end.
 

first was 906 heads, ported , flowed 255 cfm @ 25 " test. with 2.08 and 1.81 valves. with 440, ran 10.41 @ 128 mph on 11.5 tires. second is a 340 dart, ported 894 heads, 215 cfm @ 25 " test, runs 11.18 @ 119 mph. 2.02 & 1.60 valves.
 
I sent my 915 stock 360 heads to Hughes Engines and got the stage 2 port done. They were on a stock stroke 360 in my Demon with a Hughes solid cam. It was completely stock weight with bench seat all interior. ( 3400 with me in it ). It ran a best of 6.99@ 98 mph in the 1/8.
Ran a 6.47 @ 107 on 47/53 jets (100 hp) spinning and drove to track.

67 Dart 2dr post all steel 3360 full fuel with driver.
360 Magnum roller, 9.3:1, OEM magnum heads milled .010, .028 head gasket, stock valves, MP crate motor springs, ported by me at home.
Knockoff airgap, demon 650 DP, Lunati roller steel core custom grind 234/236 .495/.475 lift. 108 LSA/106 ICL
999 low gear set, TF2 shift kit Lockup circuit disabled, Turbo Action 10" 3200-3400, 3.91 SG, 27in MT drag radial, Mancini HD springs, 8.75 axle moved back .75", battery in trunk.

10.20 @ 130 2850 lbs 360 stock stroke, ported j heads by Precision Cylinder Heads. 590 mopar cam, 904, it was in my old bracket car - 65 Valiant.
