Willow Springs 2009. Just got the bottom of the valance. The bumper has been tweaked since I bought it in 1993...

Did bend the driver front steel rim too.

Just put some pings in my new headers. Only from one side though. Pefect on bottom and passenger side.

Here's my Duster last summer a week after my 3 year restoration. Can't see it real well. Pushed the radiator into the fan, bent the hood up, everything between the fenders gone. Hit a deer at 55 mph no braking as I didn't even see the stupid thing. All fixed now with an 11.87 ET last weekend.

Here is a picture of my brothers truck that just got hit on tuesday. Guy passed out from a medical condition and rearended the (PARKED) truck. It pushed the truck about 50 feet into the car in front of it and pushed them both another 25 feet. Sounds like the truck might me totaled.

This is my ex '70 Dart 4 door 318 auto, 63,000 mile car.
These pics were taken 2 days after it happened.
This was a very nice driver that i just converted to bbp discs on the front and rebuilt all of the suspension and brakes 1000 miles before this.
I hit some black ice and went into the ditch at 55mph, it barrel rolled 2 times. I drove it away. This was between christmas and new years of '98. No, i wasn't hurt at all, and i had my lap belt on. I wasn't drinking or tired. It was just an unfortunate accident. The car has since been parted out.

You know, the funny thing is that it only looks like the roof got the worst of it and the rest of the car is almost perfect. Why'd you part it out?

It doesn't show very well in the pics, but the car was twisted pretty bad in the floor area and that's because it hit the rocker panel under the driver's side rear door.....HARD.
And underneath there.
If you look closely at the last pic on post #12, the driver's seat isn't square on the top, that's because the floor is sprung up about 3'' in the middle.
The rear seat was sprung out of position, and i really had a hard time getting the driver's seat out.

I got side swiped by a semi that tried to merge into my lane. It was his fault and I still got nothing out of it except the trucking companies insurance tried to total my car and make me buy it back, I said no... It happened about five years and still have not had the money to fix it....so it's worn as a badge of honor so to speak.....

I sold the bare shell to a friend of mine restoring a '70 Swinger 340 3speed std on the floor car, he needed a lot of the rust free sheet metal for that project.
 
Here is my swinger after some a$$ hole made a left turn in front of me. He definitely won. Broke my knee in the crash but all is good now!

I have NEVER been in an accident where I've been the driver. EVERY accident I've been in I was the front seat passenger. 8 in 16 years, every second year in fact although now I'm overdue by 4 years....
 
Only one of my car crashes was my fault and pictures were not exactly my first priority. My bike crashes were all low sides (you bikers know where I'm coming from) and again, we were lucky if one guys gal had a Kodak Instamatic, lol!

Damn I'm old.....
 
i think as sad is this thread is for all the people and vehicles involved i look at the signatures of most of us and see those same vehicles fixed up and going again...

its just awesome!

So true! If it weren't for the accident my dart wouldn't be as badass as it is now!
