Hey Rob. Have you posted this car and combo in this thread earlier? Your missing a ton of information as to what the combo is and contains in the post above.

That is a beautiful beautiful car. Times and all are very impressive. Good job!

414'' W8, 904, 4.86 gear, ladder bar, QA1 single adjustable on all 4 corners, 2700 lbs.

1.23 60' 9.08 @ 145 so far, 1st outing with new combo

I tried golfing once. I shot a 69, first time out.

but it got dark after three holes, and I had to quit.
Sounds like my golf game. I thought scoring was like speed on the drag strip - the higher the better and I'm doing great! Then someone informed me it was like ET - the lower the better. :D That was the end of my golf days.

The real reason for this post is to add to the list. Not an A-body but a Plymouth Arrow. Been in the 9.40s @138+ in mineshaft air, but a consistent 1.32 60', 9.50s car. Chassis car, ladder bars and struts. Dana with 4.56 gears, Powerglide, and a mild 440+.030. When I say mild, I mean 10.5 compression, Eddy RPMs, .600/268/108 flat tappet. Could be a pump gas motor but I just don't - Cali pump gas is crap.

Sorry I missed seeing your car at Fontana. I miss fontana and Irwindale too. Each was less than a 1/2 hour away, maybe an extra 15 minutes if towing a race car.
Have you run the Arrow at Barona?
You could try bowling. That's higher the better!

My bowling game is better than my golf, but if I'm on a team I want you as a teammate!

Fontana was just over an hour tow for me. The photo is from 2019, one of my last times there before they closed. Never ran at Irwindale. I have raced at Barona a few times (it's closer than Fontana) but mostly run at Famoso.

Wow! If you're in Dago, Barona is a bunch closer than Famoso!
Fifteen years ago, I wanted to run 1/4 too. Then I put a couple hundred laps in at Irwindale, and fell in love with 1/8 mi. racing.
If Fontana and Irwindale were both open, I was going to Irwindale.

411in g3 hemi, twin s475s 1.80 proglide, 9in+ 3.70 in rear on 28x10.5s, holley hp efi, been 8.98 with just a 5.85 pass on the front half on a much tighter old converter. new converter cant seem to make the chassis work now. just spins and skates all over the place. bout to remove the monoleafs and assassin bars for ladder bars this winter. if i cant get the current setup work better.
