I'm sorry, but I have to vent a little. I use to be able to post pic's with no issues. Now everytime I try it's telling me that it failed! Very frustrating! I have been told I must re-size the pic's! My point is If it costs members an extra $10.00 each+/- lets have a user friendly easy to post site. I love this site so please do not get me wrong, but it is harder and slower than it use to be. Thanks, and sorry to sound like a complainer! I can use a computer for most things, but I'm finding it challenging here.Is it just me? Craig.

For example, I tried to change my avatar with the same picture I use to have, saved on my desktop. It would not let me do it today! I just don't get it?? It is slower,if you want to look at someone's posting of a car or parts for sale, you must wait.It was not like that before.

.
I have posted many pictures, some in the last 24 hours.

Changed my avatar about an hour ago.

Everything is fine.

My computer is an old clapped out pile, and I have only have a budget 2.5 DSL connection.

The only thing I have noticed is that you can't put the year 1978
or the area code 818 in (___).

When you do, it comes out with a smiley for the last 8.

(1978).....(818)

.
This is the only bug I have found.
.

I can post pics just fine but I have found the site has been V...E...R...Y......S...L...O...W

I hope this can be fixed.

I just did this one in less than 25 seconds My honey.

She looks good!!!! And the Dart to!! lol..I don't mind paying more to be a gold member if that's what it takes to make it dummie proof!

Another thing I noticed is that some threads/posts have words underlined and when you move your cursor over top of the underlined words, there is a "pop-up" that has nothing to do with this forum...wierd...next post you see with underlined words chk it out

I agree, it's not exactly copy and paste, I don't like having to re-size my pics to post them.
Now I have duplicates in different sizes.

I dont think its the site maybe your P C needs debugging,I know my unit gets slow at times than Cindi steps in and cleans it up.just a thought.I hope you get it sorted

Set your camera to 640 by 480, then you don't need to re-size....

Personally I use tiny-pic, a storage space, on the net, and link to it with the code, I can link that pic as many places as I choose and only upload one time. My pix don't go away when the server has a hic-up, rare here.

Close to 640 by 480 below

Hope this helps,

I don't get your problem. Every computer that runs Whinewhored even if it comes with nothing else, comes with Microshaft Paint. You can use Paint to resize, if you cannot use anything else.

There are tons of cute little "resize" programs in the www, just Gargoile 'em

I use Linux, but even if you use Winhosed, you can download (free) and use GIMP

http://www.gimp.org/

A fairly easy to use hosting site for me is www.tinypic.com

I just posted a bunch of stuff here:

http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=134889

This was done by taking screenshots, sticking them in Gimp and cropping, then using tinypic to post 'em I don't think it took 10 minutes

Some people including myself are not the greatest with computers. I just think it was easier before as compared to now!Why not make it easier for people to use?

I agree with craig on this one. For someone who is not the best with computers, like me posting a pic on this site is way more complicated than any of the others ive played around on.

I'm with you bro,...Been trying to post progress pics for the Spacer with no luck,...tells me to resize or "FATAL ERROR",....ooooohhhhh,...sound ominous,...The wife tried to resize thru paint, but alas,...no joy,....and yes this PC is way smarter than me,...but It can't get me a beer...

.
I have not had to re-size a single picture here.

Not new, old, pics I took with my camera, pics I took off the net......

So far no trouble here.

I use photobucket and never have had to do nothing but copy and paste image code.
dart.jpg
And its free!!!

I've noticed that if somthing needs to be resized (more often lately), that the screen gos into la la land (blank). This is all within the last month or so.
