What power brake booster / master cylinder, proportioning valve do I need to convert a 1972 dart swinger to power brakes? Car has disc brakes on the front, drums on the rear.
I don't know what size it is. I was thinking about converting to power brakesi think if you get the correct master cylinder you'll find your brakes are almost like power steering. What size piston is in your existing master?
Be picking up the car shortly, it needs a few things, so I don't know anything about the brakes other than they are manual.OK...what discs do you have?
Hopefully getting the car this weekend if the owner will be home. The owner painted the grill to match the car and it looks terribleOK...what discs do you have?
Would I be better off leaving the car manual brakes?OK...what discs do you have?
Is this a trick question? What power brake booster / master cylinder, proportioning valve do I need to convert a 1972 dart swinger to power brakes? Car has disc brakes on the front, drums on the rear.
No sir it's not a trick question. I'm getting a good deal on the dart and as I said earlier it needs a few cosmetic items done to it. I believe that there's a mopar salvage yard in my area and I think that I'll start there. Is this a trick question?
Start by sourcing parts for a'72 Dart with power brakes... '72 back to '70 should all be the same (back to '67, and '73 and up will also work, but is different).
