What all has to be changed to go from power to manual brakes. Are the master cylinders the same. Proportioning valve the same.

What year are you asking about? I did a 68. Remove the booster and brackets. The master can be reused. The brake lines can be manipulated without cutting when mounting the master to the firewall. That way if you want to go back you can.You may need to replace the push rod that is attached to the brake pedal. Years vary.

Working on a 73 duster. I have the push rod just not sure on the rest.

73 you will be fine.Won't have to change any plumbing.Re-use stock stuff except the booster and brackets. If your good no more than a 2 hour job.Remember to check that the brake lights are working. You may have to adjust the switch.

Rockauto PN's will tell you if the same. Might be true for some years. The manual brake rod needs a rubber bushing to lock into the MC piston. Best to also have a dust shield which also keeps the piston from popping out. Dr. Diff sells a kit w/ alum MC and 2-4 bolt adapter plate for $95. Proportioning valve wouldn't change.
