Laughing so hard I am crying.....She is having twins....and has a rough pregnancy. This nasty thing

keeps rearing it's ugly head. Doc put her on bed-rest, which to Nanook means going to softball games, going to the mall etc. Doc finally had enough and admitted her. Ernie was on FaceBook and the chat box popped up, it was Desiree, aka Nanook. She is freaking out. They were in the maternity triage waiting to get admitted and Nanook to witness, audibly, another prego woman "dropping the bomb". She said something to the effect of "Mom, it sounded like a horror movie"...Ernie is fighting back the laughter, trying her best to calm her down. Nanook is going to have a c-section......She is at 33 weeks now, thanks to all the complications they will be delivering the babies sometime soon. Ernie, as much as she wants to be there will not be. Biggest problem is ever since returning from her last trip to AZ about 6 weeks or so ago she has been sick. Family doc has no idea why she still has an ear infection, and all the drainage. Ernie will be going to see our ENT sometime soon. But she has told me she is not getting on a plane with her head as bad as it is. Between that & the pup and now me getting her going down there for potentially a few weeks is just out of the question. Would like to send her down when she knows the date but buying a ticket on such short notice, last I checked, was pricey......way out of our range right now....

'Tell ya. If men had to have kids, there' be a lot less

13 months ago at the hospital the daughter was a few days old. The wife asked me if I heard all of the swearing, screaming, begging, crying, & moaning. I was a little sleep deprived and thought that the rucuss was a horror tv movie on too loud.

No, the lady next door began having her baby before being admitted. My jaw dropped when I realized that the rucuss was real. Too much tv after work desensitized me from reality.
That woman suffered.
Am grateful that the wife finally agreed to the epideral shot in the spine.
