I got the tires balanced so on they go.
Seem to be hard to center really well since the OD of shank is a tad small, but I think I got it. Dropped the front just a hair since I always knew it was high LF. Last picture is after lowered. Hardly noticeable. Next dry road day I will test drive and align it.
O yeah need to finish cleaning center caps and a logo for centers since 2 of the original are not coming out well.
Ideas are welcome!!!. ( no Britney Spears lol) 1 3/4 OD will fit.

on to them. Rear seat is out!!! It's happening finally.

Interior back together today. I am happy with it. I will go back and align seams later. Calling it done for now. I put lots of sound deadener all over so curious how it sounds now.

regarding your wheel choice: Cragar had a contest in 1968 and the grand prize was a new 68 340 Dart with (naturally) those wheels. I lusted after them when I was 16, but never ended up with a set. I love the vintage vibe of them on your Dart!

Wow where is that car now huh?
Good memories
Thank you.

I believe that the car, complete with a fancy paint job, was built as a Car Craft project with Cragar and is out there in the hobby (for sale maybe 10-15 years ago, but it has since not been in the public eye).

I don't know how I missed this thread for so long, but it's a great story. I'm ratholing it for tips as I'm on the verge of pulling a dead 904 for a shiny new A500 in my wagon. Those low 1/2 gears and a 3.91 rear end should get that pig moving lots better and cruise at 75 doing about 2200 RPM.

Time to do the windshield replacement, I am planning on doing this myself(first time). I am waiting on the stainless lock strip that '67 use, but in meantime it gets pulled out and check for corrosion in dash . Bullet hole has been there since I bought car so I bet looking through a clean glass will be a treat.

I like having the back side paint white or light gray, not quite as dark when working on it in the car.
It's dark enough under there sorting wires as it is! Can't remember who put me on to that...
