I'm pulling the intake manifold off my 318 and was wondering if it's possible to not leak any coolant into the block if you drain the radiator and block. I usually just drain the radiator and let it rip, but I just changed the oil not that long ago and trying not to to change it again. Thanks!

Depends on how much pools in the intake, but a good shot of air down the thermostat opening before you take it apart might help though.
Usually if coolant goes in the motor when you pull an intake it just drops small puddles between the lifter galleys and cylinder area and can be soaked up by dipping a paper towel in the puddle (even if it's a puddle in a puddle of oil.)
If you are real concerned about it drop the oil first, and then put it back in after.

A shot of compressed air will minimize coolant in crankcase. Pull stat and blow away.

Hmmm, sounds like an upgrade project from a 2bbl to a 4bbl is about to start?

The "shot of high pressure air" down the water outlet is what always works for me, just be sure to have the radiator open or the lower hose off the engine so the high pressure air can escape and push all the water out. If you attach a skiney hose to the air nozzle you can reach further in there and get more water out.

Drain the oil into a clean container is what I've done in the past, then pour it back in when you're done. leave the plug out just in case any water drains in there it has a place to get out. I wouldn't even risk it if it's fresh earl.

Already added the 4bbl on top of a Weiand Stealth. The first time, I blocked the heat crossover. The second time, I left it open, but didn't add any sealant around the port I had to cut out of the Fel-Pro 1243 intake manifold gasket and now it is leaking from it. I'll be lucky if I ever keep oil in there for 3K at this rate! Thanks for the help guys.

Build you a 351 Cleveland Ford and put in your Mopar. Coolant doesn't even flow through the intake. Oh happy day.

few drops of coolant in the oil isn't going to hurt anything from this type of project.
